Martin Guptill of New Zealand took over the top spot of highest run-scorer of 2015 Cricket World Cup as he surpassed Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka total runs of 541. Guptill finished with the highest 547 runs to become the No. 1 in the top-10 list of batsmen. South African skipper AB de Villiers is third leading run-scorer in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. It will be interesting to see who makes to finals in between second placed Martin Guptill and third placed AB de Villiers. Either of them will get chance to overtake Sangakkara’s total in the final.
