1—William Porterfield’s first Cricket World Cup century

Ireland’s captain who has been vocal about his displeasure towards international cricket board’s decision to discontinue associate side’s participation in World Cups had a perfect answer for them. 2—Fall of Ireland’s wickets on regular interval

Playing in the virtual knockout match, one would have expected a better show from Ireland’s batting after they opted to bat first at the Adelaide Oval. The venue does not boast of huge scores, something that must have been in mind of skipper Porterfield going ahead to bat first. But the decision backfired with Ireland batsmen failing to put up a concrete partnership by losing top order players Paul Sterling, Ed Joyce, Niall O’ Brien and Andy Balbirnie.

3—Trio Rahat Ali, Wahab Riaz and Sohail Khan shine for Pakistan

On a batting wicket, it was a brilliant show by Pakistan’s bowling attack who restricted Ireland at the score of 237. Despite Porterfield’s century, the trio Rahat Ali, Wahab Riaz and Sohail Khan shined for Pakistan sharing seven wickets among them. They were well supported by team’s good aerial and ground fielding. Watch- Live Telecast & Streaming of Pakistan vs Ireland Cricket World Cup 2015 match in India, Pakistan, Ireland, Bangladesh & USA.
