After losing the wicket of Virat Kohli, India slipped to further trouble as they lost yet another wicket in what is a big run chase against Australia at Sydney. Mitchell Johnson was all fired up and Rohit had just smashed the bowler for his second six of his innings. then came a superb inswinger, from Johnson, which came into the batsman after pitching in the good length area sealed the deal and India need a big partnership to get back in the game.
Just a couple of overs back, India got a massive setback in the run chase against Australia as their batting talisman got out to Mitchell Johnson of a short delivery and the large Indian contingent, which had the batsman’s girlfriend, Anushka Sharma was left stunned in silence. India were in trouble and the onus was on the deep batting order of India to take the team through to a big score. The short delivery worked for Australia this time. Australia managed to post 328 for seven in their 50 overs against India in the second semi final match of the ICC Cricket world Cup 2015 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Thursday. After a good start provided courtesy Steve Smith’s century and Aaron Finch’s seventh One-Day International (ODI) half-century, Australian innings faced a mini-collapse. Wickets fell in quick succession and the run-rate dropped. It took some lusty hitting towards the end of the innings for the hosts to go past the 300-run mark.
