Rubel Hossain took a brilliant catch at deepbackward square leg to dismiss Nawroz Mangal in the Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Match 7 at Manuka Oval in Canberra on Wednesday. Nawroz was looking good on 27 and had shared a partnership of 62 runs with Samiullah Shenwari for the fourth wicket, when he caught by Rubel off Mahmudullah. Chasing 268 Afghanistan got off to a worst possible start and lost three wickets in three overs. Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza removed Javed Ahmadi first (watch his video dismissal here) and then Rubel Hossain struck with his first ball to remove other opener Afsar Zazai (watch his video dismissal here). Asghar Stanikzai then fell in the third over to Mashrafe Mortaza (Watch his video dismissal here) and Afghanistan were in all sorts of trouble.

This is the first World Cup appearance for Afghanistan, while Bangladesh are playing in the tournament for fifth time. The two teams have met once in One Day Internationals (ODIs), last year in Asia Cup. Afghanistan won the that encounter by 32 runs. However, Bangladesh then were without the services of key players- Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hassan.
