Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Maharashtra, a state with 2nd highest Lok Sabha constituencies, becomes a very cruicial state for the current NDA alliance government and also for the India alliance if they want to come in power. After the BJP alliance was broken with the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), parameters to the state politics have changed drastically. Raigad is always considered as a bastion for Shivsena (UBT) will face tough fight from 3 parties together i.e. BJP, Shivsena (Shinde Faction), NCP (Ajit Pawar faction).
Raigad constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituencies in Maharashtra. Let us take a look at Raigad Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Voting for the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency will be held in phase 4 on 13 May.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, NCP (Undivided) Sunil Tatkare won the election with 4,86,968 votes. He defeated former cabinet minister and Shiv Sena (Undivided) leader Anant Geete.
Ajit Pawar-led NCP has already announced Sunil Tatkare from the Raigad constituency as its candidate for Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) faction has announced Anant Gite as their candidate. Raigad voters are going to see their old fight in the constituency among Tatkare and Gite.
Earlier there were speculations that Tatkare may get nominated for Rajya Sabha, however now the NCP (Ajit Pawar) faction has already announced his name. So it’s very clear that a neck to neck fight between Tatkare And Gite can be seen in Raigad.
It is also considered as a tough fight for Shivsena (UBT) as the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency out of which MLA from three constituencies went with Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena after the 2022 infamous break up, one MLA is still with Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena UBT, But other two MLAs are with Ajit Pawar-led NCP and BJP.
So Sunil Tatkare may get support from Shiv Sena (Shinde), NCP (Ajit Pawar) and BJP whereas Uddhav Thackeray needs to fight alone with the help of his one MLA.
Sunil Tatkare NCP (undivided) won the Raigad constituency in the Lok Sabha elections 2019 with 486968 votes, whereas Anant Geete (Shiv Sena (Undivided) received 455530 votes in 2019. Tatkare won with a margin of 31438 votes with 47.49% vote share.
