JP Duminy wins the toss and elects to bowl first. This is interesting because the Chinnaswamy Stadium is a good batting pitch but like KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir chose to bowl first, the toss winning captain chose to bowl first and have a target in sights rather than set the target. CSK face DD in the their first match of IPL 8 and the second clash of the tournament. Both teams will try and get a winning start in their first game, but we would put our money on CSK. But DD has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to becoming a reliable team that you can bank upon.
CSK have won the trophy two times in IPL history, while the best that DD has managed is to reach the Playoffs in 2012. The Delhi team seems to be in menacing form from what we hear coming out of the practice sessions. CSK meanwhile is cool and relaxed like their skipper Dhoni, but ready to set the pitch on fire with their performances in IPL 2015.
