Delhi Daredevils will face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in a game that can be termed as a do or die game for both the sides. While the Sunrisers are at 10 points from 10 games, the daredevils have 8 points from 11 games. Daredevils will have to win each and every game from here onwards in order to give themselves an outward chance to qualify for the Play Offs. Delhi has been struggling lately in order to find a way to register a win in the competition after a promising start to the season. With the competition at its business end, every game is important for the two teams in contention. Here’s taking a look at some of the major players who will take the field in this game,
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar: Kumar has once again joined the list of the highest wicket takers for yet another season. He has 16 wickets to his name this year and he would love to add up to that list. With the ability to pick up wickets at the top and to deliver the toe crushers at the death, he has become the lead bowler in of an attack that features the likes of Dale Steyn and Trent Boult.
David Warner: The Australian marauder is well known for destroying bowlers all around the world and he has continued doing that at the IPL as well. Placed second in the Orange cap race with 409 runs, he is just 29 runs behind the leader Ajinkya Rahane. Whenever he delivers, the Sunrisers win which adds that much more importance to his performances for his side. More than just delivering for his team, it’s important that David Warner delivers just for the sake of the entertainment that he provides to the Fans.
Eoin Morgan: Morgan hit form just at the right moment for the Hyderabad franchise in the last game. Morgan is one of the best finishers in the game today and he being in form will add a lot of balance to the Hyderabad side. With an astonishing and equally dominating innings of 63 runs of just 28 deliveries in the game against the Rajasthan Royals he has added caution to winds for the sides that are going to face the Sunrisers in the coming games.
JP Duminy: Duminy has done well to lead the team from the front this season. It is a shame that he has not had much support from the rest of the team. He has batted well and has even bowled brilliantly when the team has required him to do so. With the middle order not firing, he will once again have the onus upon himself to take the team to a much needed victory.
Shreyas Iyer: Iyer has arguably been the find of this season. What else can you say about a talent when he features in the most sixes list along with the likes of Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum. He has been the top run scorer for the Daredevils and just like Duminy, he will have a huge responsibility on his shoulders because of the poor form that the middle order of Delhi has shown over the season.
