After the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 it is the eighth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) that is going to grip the cricket buffs. If it was cricket, cricket and just cricket on the menu for the sport lovers during World Cup, IPL 8 will only add to the extravaganza.  IPL theme song India Ka Tyohaar matches perfectly with the mood of country as cricket is no less than a festivity here. IPL 8 starts on eighth of this month and will last till May 24.

‘The IPL- India ka Tyohaar‘ advertisement sees different communities get together and celebrate cricket, as a line in the song goes ‘Dooriyan chhod ke, dekho dil jodh ke’. The video showcases how cricket binds India and lessens the generation gap in the process, with kids and elders enjoying the showpiece event. IPL VIII will have eight teams fighting for glory. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who defeated Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) last year in the finals are the defending champions. Yuvraj Singh will once again hog the limelight in this edition of the IPL too. India’s World Cup winner took home a hefty amount in this year’s auction. The southpaw will play for Delhi Daredevils, who are looking to start afresh after their dismal campaign last year.
