Quetta: In a tragic incident, a policeman was killed and 12 people were injured in a blast that occurred near a mosque in Pakistan’s Quetta on Monday, ARY reported. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and initiated an investigation.

This unfortunate incident is not an isolated one in the region, as Quetta has been grappling with a recent upsurge in terrorist activities. In a previous incident in February, a blast outside a political party’s office in Balochistan’s Pishin region resulted in the loss of 12 lives and left 25 others injured. Similarly, another blast near the JUI-F election office in Balochistan’s Qila Saifullah claimed the lives of 12 individuals and caused several injuries.

further details are awaited.
