The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has invited applications for recruiting aspirants to shortlist eligible candidates for the post of  650 Assistant Administrative Officer – AAO (Generalist) post. Aspirant who wish to pursue career with LIC are required to apply through the official website of the LIC.  Applicants while applying must note that Life Insurance Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned insurance group and investment company headquartered in Mumbai and there will be many aspirants vying for a job in LIC. The applicants are required to note that the minimum age of the candidates as on December 1, 2016 should be 21 year while the maximum age of the candidates should be 30 years. For applying,  candidates are required to note that they should be a either a graduate or a post-graduate from a government recognised institution or university. Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest insurance company in India with an estimated asset value of ₹1,560,482 crore. It is expected that for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer – AAO (Generalist) there will 86 vacancies for Scheduled Caste and for Scheduled Tribe there will be 43 posts. The vacancies for OBC category is 182 category, there will be 339 vacancies for Unreserved category. This year there will be about 650  vacancies.  Aspirants are required to note that there will be age relaxation limit for the SC/ST category is five years, three years for OBC category, 10 years for PwD (General) category, 15 years for PwD (SC/ST) category and 13 years for PwD (OBC) category. Candidates will be selected on the bases of an exam held online, followed by an interview round. Aspirants are required to note that the total fee of the candidates is  Rs 600 + Rs 100 plus transaction charges for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. Aspirants are required to pay the fee online through debit cards (RuPay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards or mobile wallets. Aspirants are required to note that they will need to follow certain steps to log in to the official website of the LIC, in order to apply after the start of the registration process.  To apply for the LIC jobs candidates also need to have a valid email ID, mobile phone number, and scanned copies of photograph and signature.
