  • Candidates applying for the post of Junior Scientific Officer (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), on being selected, would be getting a pay scale of Rs 9,300/- to Rs 34,800/- along with a grade pay of Rs 4,800/-.
  • Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer (Ayurveda), on being selected, would be getting a pay scale of Rs 15,600/- to Rs 39,100/- along with a grade pay of Rs 5400/-.

Nationality: Candidates applying for either of the above mentioned posts should have Indian nationality.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates applying for the post of Junior Scientific Officer (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) should not be more than 38 years of age.
  • Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) should not be more than 35 years of age.

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates applying for the post of Junior Scientific Officer (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) must have M Sc Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry or Pharmacy of a recognized University.
  • Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) must have a degree in Ayurvedic of a University/ Statutory State Board/ Council/ Faculty of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970). Enrollment on Central/State Register of Indian Medicine.

Experience: Candidates applying for the post of Junior Scientist Officer must have 2 years research experience preferably in the field of drugs.

Special Requirement: Candidates applying for the post of Medical Officer must have knowledge of local Gujarati language.
