Bengaluru: A shocking incident has come to light from Bengaluru, where a 29-year-old woman and her 20-year-old male friend were arrested for the murder of the woman’s mother. Pavitra Suresh and Lovlish also attempted to cover up the heinous crime by portraying it as an accidental death. According to Bommanahalli police, both the accused murdered 46-year-old Jayalakshmi at her home in Hongasandra. The incident took place on Wednesday. Pavitra, the daughter of the victim, provided false account of events to cops.
Bengaluru Murder: Accused Daughter Mislead Police
Pavitra told police that her mother Jayalakshmi fell unconscious after slipping in the bathroom. She stated that her mother passed away a few hours later she moved her to her bed from the bathroom. Based on Pavitra’s statement, police lodged a case of unnatural death and sent the body for autopsy.
Bengaluru Murder: Postmortem Report Revealed Truth
The autopsy report, that cops received on Friday, unearthed a whole different truth contrary to Pavitra’s statement. As per the report, Jayalakshmi had been smothered and later strangled which confirmed the foul play.
When cops took the accused woman for questioning she confessed to conspiring with her boyfriend to kill her mother.

Bengaluru Murder: The Secret Relationship
During the investigation, the truth about Lovlish was unearthed. Apparently, he and Pavitra had allegedly planned to carry out a devious act of murder after Jayalakshmi stumbled upon their secret affair. Jayalakshmi bravely addressed the scandalous relationship with her daughter, but Pavitra stubbornly chose to continue the affair in spite of her mother’s warnings. Viewing her mother’s disapproval as a grave danger, Pavitra and Lovlish resolved to carry out the unthinkable – they decided to kill her.
The story goes that Pavitra, a married lady of 11 years with a family of two kids, shared her life with her husband. She ran a convenience store nearby her mom’s place. A man named Lovlish, who rented a room from Jayalakshmi, often stopped by at the store, and over the course of the past year, he and Pavitra had developed a friendliness with each other.
