The first step to stop the early signs of ageing is to adopt a skincare routine. Start cleansing, toning and moisturising your skin regularly. Wash your face with warm water to open up the pores and start by applying cleanser onto your face and massaging it in circular motions. Remove the cleanser and apply toner to balance the pH level of your skin. Lock in the moisture by applying a dollop of moisturiser on your face.

2. Use SPF

Try to avoid going out in the sun to protect yourself from the harmful UV rays.  Use a  sunscreen with SPF 30, it would be ideal for everyday use. If you thought you needed the sunscreen only during Summer, you are wrong, make sunscreen cream your best friend during all the seasons to get the flawless skin.

3. Drink enough water

Drink your eight glasses of water every day. You need to keep your body hydrated throughout the day, so in order to avoid dehydration drink plenty of water. If you don’t like to gulp down regular water, you can always add some lemon or any other citrus fruit to give a tangy twist to it. Happy sipping!

4. Take off your makeup

Never go to your bed with makeup on your face. Make sure you cleanse your face before resuming to the bed after a long day. Cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin before you doze off, while cleansing make sure you get all the makeup out, since residual makeup can lead to skin breakouts.

5. Sleep

While work hard, party harder might have been the motto in your life a few years back, but now you need to rest a lot to get ready to face another day. Try to get 8 to 9 hours of sleep every night, because if you end up sleeping less or more your overall health will get drastically affected by it. You will notice that a  good night’s sleep will make you more lively and energetic during the day.
