The wait around Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes 2026 finally came to an end when the actress made a grand appearance at the prestigious film festival. Ever since the festival began on May 12, fans had been wondering why the global icon had not yet appeared on the red carpet. Social media was filled with questions after many noticed that her image was missing from promotional displays at Hotel Martinez. For her much-awaited first appearance at Cannes 2026, Aishwarya stepped onto the red carpet in a sculpted blue couture gown created by designer Amit Aggarwal. The couture piece was named Luminara and was specially designed for Cannes.
