More recently, Alia tried to bunny hopping to Shah Rukh Khan on the show Koffee with Karan and led to a laughter riot. If you are wonder about this new fitness trend, here’s everything you should know about Bunny hops.

What is bunny hop?

Bunny hopping is one of best exercises to do if you don’t like running. It is simple and can be done in the comfort your room. Bunny hopping is an exercise for your entire body. It is tough and you will have to start slowly. The exercise will engage your legs and arms.

How is bunny hopping done?

Do a small warm up routine before you start bunny hop. There are several variations of bunny hopping. For bunny hop with a plank, you will have to be in plank position. Keep your feet together and then jump to your left and bring your knees towards your left elbow. Jump back to plank position and then jump to your right, bringing your knees close to your right elbow.

Another way of doing bunny hopping is by fixing your hands on the front part of a step box or bench and jump over it to the other side. Keep your legs together and land on both feet. You can make the routine by selecting a higher bench.

For lateral bunny hop, stand straight and jump to your left. Come back to the original position and then jump to your right. Repeat this and remember to keep the jumps small and legs close. You can swing your arms for support.

And like Alia Bhatt, if you want to bunny hop on the treadmill, then squat down and jump forward on the treadmill instead of walking. Do bunny hops to tone your body and work on your triceps.
