Bhumi’s daily weight loss diet

Bhumi had to lose nearly 30 kg after her first film and she had to exercise every day for achieving her goal. Here’s her diet plan. Bhumi would start her day by drinking 50 ml of organic aloe vera juice on an empty stomach. For her breakfast, she ate three egg-white omelettes topped with herbs. She had multi-grain bread as well. At times, Bhumi also opted for a granola bar and a glass of skimmed milk.

Post-workout snack

Bhumi used to work out for an hour post breakfast and then for her post-workout snack, she would eat something like chana, chicken or fish with greens. A protein-rich snack is perfect after exercises to repair your muscles. (ALSO SEE Best office snacks for weight loss)

Since Bhumi loves Indian food, her lunch meals would consist of two small chapatis made of a mix of ragi, soya, chana and amaranth flour topped with ghee along with with a big bowl of sabzi and a glass of buttermilk.

In the evening, she would have fresh, seasonal fruits and a cup of green tea. Bhumi would make it a point to eat her dinner by 8 pm. She would first have a bowl of salad with different greens, seeds, nuts and cold-pressed oil. And at 9 pm, she would eat grilled fish or chicken with brown rice.
