Deepika Padukone is back to work after having fun during her wedding festivities. The actress was clicked by the shutterbugs outside the office of a popular entertainment magazine. The actress shot for a special episode of a chat show and it was her look for the day that stole the limelight. Deepika wore striking red coloured separates for the day. A knitted sweater over a pleated skirt and a pair of satin heels in the same colour, Deepika flaunted the colour from head to toe. The only thing that was not red in her entire look was that pair of earrings. The newly married actress chose to adorn a pair of golden victorian-styled earrings to finish the look.
Seems like the actress is in no mood to ditch the colour, which is traditionally considered auspicious for married women. The actress chose the same colour for her big wedding at Italy’s Lake Como last month. Even her stunning wedding gown from the Mumbai wedding reception was of the same colour. Deepika looked gorgeous in all her wedding looks. Check out her latest pics here:

Deepika’s latest photoshoot with Vogue is also garnering a lot of attention. The actress has posed for the December special edition of the magazine, looking absolutely sultry. Deepika is seen rocking monokinis and other kinds of beach wears while posing in a desert. Her bronze skin, smokey eyes and those expressions are giving an edge to the entire photoshoot.
On the work front, the actress will soon begin her work on filmmaker Meghna Gulzar’s next. She is playing the character of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in the film. Laxmi, who’s a single mother, had earlier revealed in an interview with Hindustan Times that she was happy to see Deepika performing in her biopic. She said, ” am so happy that Deepika is playing the role. I have no right to judge her. How can I judge someone for something which I can’t do. She has played wonderful characters on screen and I believe she will give her best. I want to thank Deepika ji, Meghna ji and the entire team who will be working together on the film. I am glad that the movie will spread awareness and will help people who are victims of such incidents to come out of it. They will get inspired that if she can do it then why not us”.
