Twinning is great but not if it happens unintentionally. Priyanka Chopra is representing her upcoming flick Baywatch at the Golden Globe Awards 2017 and has been making heads turn for (more or less) the right reasons. Priyanka Chopra walked the Golden Globe Awards red carpet in a golden figure-hugging Ralph Lauren number and we couldn’t take our eyes off her. Priyanka Chopra has, more often than not, nailed the red carpet look and she spared no efforts for her LA look either. This is the first time Priyanka Chopra has attended the Golden Globe Awards. While we couldn’t help falling head over heels in love with her red carpet look, some fashion critics have not exactly been convinced of her custom-made Ralph Lauren gown.

The fashion critics aside, we couldn’t also help notice that Priyanka Chopra’s golden Ralph Lauren gown was strikingly similar to Sofia Vergara‘s equally sexy number. Sofia Vergara is best known in India and indeed the West for the hit TV show, Modern Family. While Sofia Vergara rocked the red carpet in a Zuhair Murad number, Priyanka looked hot as hell in the custom-designed gold gown by Ralph Lauren.

Sofia Vergara showed off her jewels from Lorraine Schwartz, while Priyanka Chopra accented her look with a radiant pendant and a bold lipstick. (ALSO READ Golden Globe Awards 2017: Move over Priyanka Chopra’s glittery Golden Globe Awards look, we love Dev Patel’s hunky look!).

Of course, we do know that while their dresses were indeed quite similar, they were of tad different style and hue. And frankly, if it was pretty much anyone else besides these two, we are pretty sure it’d have blown out of proportion. No?
