Do not use harsh soap to wash your hands, instead use a moisturizing hand wash with ingredients such as   olive oil, aloe vera or shea butter so that the hand wash will not only clean your hands but will also moisturize them. Always moisturize your hands after washing them, as the skin tends to get dry. Apply fast absorbing moisturizing lotion or cream to keep your hands soft and prevent cracking. You can also use hand cream during bedtime to get smooth and soft skin in the morning.  Regular petroleum jelly will also work just fine if you do not have hand cream.
