Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is making waves in the international film industry as well. The actress is not only prepping for her big Hollywood release, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, featuring Vin Diesel, but is also ready to take the Golden Globe Awards 2017 after party by storm with her debut Golden Globes 2017 appearance. Unless you are living under a rock you are sure to have seen a peek of Deepika’s Golden Globes after party look. In the photo, Deepika is seen smoldering in a canary yellow off-shoulder gown by Ralph Lauren. This is in complete contrast to the look of her Bajirao Mastani co-star Priyanka Chopra, who went all out bling in her sequined gold gown with a plunging neckline. Incidentally, for their big day, both Deepika and Priyanka opted for the same designer: Ralph Lauren.

We could see why Deepika chose to play safe. After all, her previous international outing — that disaster in green and black with a thigh-high split thrown in — didn’t exactly win her a lot of brownie points. (ALSO READ Priyanka Chopra at Golden Globe Awards 2017: The secret to Priyanka’s look is REVEALED!).

Deepika

That being said, what we do like about Deepika’s Golden Globe look are the earthy tones of her make-up. Deepika’s make-up was by the Vietnamese-Canadian artiste, Hung Vanngo who turned to a nude matte lipstick and the glitter eye makeup by Marc Jacobs Beauty for a neutral take on Old Hollywood. Complementing her make up, the celebrity hair stylist Christian Wood brought it all together and gave her the classic ‘Hollywood Waves’ look. (ALSO READ Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone at Golden Globe Awards 2017: Here’s one thing common between their Golden Globes debut appearance).
