Justin Bieber has spent the last 18 months busy promoting his album called Purpose. He performed in 6 continents and did over 150 shows. Justin Bieber earned a lot of flak for his performance in India. Fans were disappointed and took to twitter to express their anger. Majority of them who attended the concert accused him of lip syncing and not performing well. Last week, Justin was again in trouble. He was banned from performing in China because of his bad behavior. And once again he is in news for abruptly cancelling the last leg of his Purpose World tour. Justin’s official website made the announcement saying that he had to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances and that Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them.
The tour has been lucrative so far, earning about $200 million until April and almost 40,000 tickets were sold per date. We are not quite sure how this cancellation will affect him monetarily, but we are pretty sure that Beliebers, as his fans are fondly called, are pretty disappointed. This cancellation will affect dates that were booked in North America and also Asia. Several dates were left across East Asia and North America that included several high end venues like MetLife Stadium, Tokyo’s Sjinomoto Stadium among others. Justin was due to play mostly in US, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan and Singapore.
