Christmas is the best time to channelise your inner diva. It’s the time to celebrate and pamper yourself. But often, while trying to make an impact with our fashion sense, we tend to go over-the-top with our styling. Following are a few tips to follow this Christmas so that you don’t look like a live-walking Christmas tree at a party.

Wear something really sexy:

Don’t think about the colour, just pick up a dress that can perfectly hug you at right curves and accentuate the beauty you are. Sequin has been quite in vogue this year, you can choose a truly sexy sequin dress to wear at a Christmas party. Or just let the detailing of your dress do the entire talking. Don’t mind the length or colour of the dress, just focus on what kind of neckline does it have to offer or is there a nice detailing at the back! Remember to pick something that makes you look confident, that’s the only thing constant about style!

Red is the colour:

Christmas means red. If you’re the one who doesn’t want to think a lot about what to buy for a Christmas party, simply go for anything you like in red. The colour speaks of beauty, confidence, festivity, and joy – all at once.

Go comfy and warm:

Your style should never look out of place. While Christmas means fun, it also means winters. You surely won’t like to be shivering the night away at a party. Therefore, it’s always a smart decision to wear something which is also protecting you from the cold outside. You can choose to wear a nice bodycon dress by teaming it up with a big red trenchcoat. Or you can also choose a sweater-skirt look, add a pair of thigh-high boots and you are set to rock at the party.

White is the highlight:

If you’re the one who likes to keep it simple and subdued, white is your colour. Wear a nice silk dress in a white colour and add a pair of gloves to it. Pick a pair of white denim and a basic T, now wear it with a short blazer in any colour and you’re good to go. You can also wear a little white dress and add some jazz to it by having a red woolen scarf around your neck.

Go colourful:

Forget everything, every rule you’ve heard about the right styling and play with colours this time. The fun of Christmas should be seen in your look and for the same, you can choose to wear a dress which has a splash of colours or, wear a colourful blazer and balance it out with a pair of white denim. You can also go for a red dress, pink scarf, white boots combo.

Whatever you wear and however you style it, learn to have that wide grin on your face always. Nothing can make you look prettier than your own smile. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
