The ever-so-gorgeous Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar has been making India proud with several appearances worldwide and simultaneously have also been doing philanthropy work. Manushi even goofed around a little on the sets of the show when she recreated the iconic Palat scene between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge. Manushi surprised the panel of Miss World 2017 by giving a very beautiful and touching reply to the question, “Which profession deserves the highest salary and why?” Her reply to the question was that mothers should be given the highest level of respect for their love and selflessness. She went on to add that her mother is the biggest inspiration in her life.  also seen bringing a tinge of Bollywood to Hollywood by recreating the iconicPalat scene between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge (1995).

Manushi Chhillar was crowned the 54th Femina Miss India World 2017 by the outgoing Femina Miss India World 2016 Priyadarshini Chatterjee at the finale event held in at Raj Studios. She represented her home-state Haryana as the Miss India Haryana as the Miss India Haryana 2017 at the Femina Miss India 2017 and competed with 29 other contestants from different Indian states.
