Because people with Type 1 diabetes are usually not able to do rigorous exercises and that my put them in danger and at greater risk, because of the blood sugar fluctuations. So if any of you have type 1 diabetes, this is one thing that you need to be careful about. You need to ensure that you keep a constant check on your blood glucose levels. You need to do this more before and after your routine exercises. This will help you maintain a balanced blood lipid, fitness and blood sugar goals.

However there is a fine line between rigorous exercises and a balanced one. Usually people with Type 1 are at the risk of loss of glycemic control and also hypoglycemia. Physical activities are never bad however you need to be extra cautious and have adequate knowledge in your choices of exercises of activities. Approximately 150 minutes of physical activity per week should work the best for you.
If you follow this, your risk of getting diabetic eye and kidney disease will decrease. And if you are a pediatric patient, monitoring you exercises will put you at lower risk of cardiovascular diseases and also maintains your blood glucose levels. Walking, cycling, jogging are all exercises that can be done moderately. Do not indulge in anything heavy like weight lifting and so on.
