Sprawled across nearly 750,000 acres of land, Yosemite National Park is an American treasure, a remnant of the untamed American wilderness. The queen of US national parks, Yosemite grabs eyeballs like nothing else, for its sheer natural majesty. It is spread across the Sierra Nevada mountains of California and is home to tall granite peaks, notable ones like El Capitan (fondly called El Cap) and Half Dome.
