Actor Ranveer Singh‘s fashion sense often becomes a subject of debate and discussion among the fashion police. While some support her unusual style picks, some call it a fashion trauma. The actor is once again making various public appearances and flaunting his ever-fashionable self. The promotions of his upcoming film Gully Boy have taken him to Berlin, where his film recently got screened. Among the many striking looks he gave while promoting the film, one look just stood out more than the others. Ranveer wore a fur jacket which had ‘Gully Boy’ written on its sleeves. The actor styled it with pink glossy pants, big hair and colourful shades. He worked every bit of that look.
Now that particular jacket that Ranveer wore has got a little story behind it. It’s been designed by Manish Arora, who’s known for creating vibrantly hued outfits. Manish took to Instagram and shared Ranveer’s photo wearing the fur jacket. It was in the caption that he wrote how the jacket actually symbolises his early days of struggle in the fashion industry. He also said that being unusual is a distinct quality and Ranveer has that quality, which is visible in the kinds of outfits he wears and also in the kinds of roles he chooses for films.
Manish wrote, “My dear friend @ranveersingh wearing a custom made jacket for his movie #gullyboy “Anyone who is unconventional be in fashion or music or film, they make it to success because they believe in themselves. Only then will the world believe in them. This jacket is a culmination of these ideas. It’s an association with my days of struggle. It’s unconventional and just like anyone who has made it in life despite the odds, much like the character Ranveer is playing in Gully Boy. The jacket symbolises freedom, a reminder that we are rare and our own heroes #believeinyourself #ranveersingh #manisharora #manisharorafashion #ididitmyway” (sic)
This look was praised by many on social media. Even Ranveer’s wife and actress Deepika Padukone commented on his photo saying, “One of my most favourite looks!!”.
