According to Sonam, the pav bhaji at Amar Juice Center is the best in the city. In an interview with Conde Nast Traveller, the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo star revealed, “I am an absolute foodie. I love eating junk food, and the stuff you get in Bombay is simply delicious! You must have vada pav when you’re here.” She added by saying: “I love street food, fine dining and everything in between.” Here are all the places Sonam Kapoor suggested that every foodie must try:

Street Food

Some of the top places to enjoy satisfying Indian street foods include Elco Pani Puri Center, Amar Juice Center, Haji Ali Juice Center, Mani Dosa, Brijwasi Sweets, Bachelorr’s, Bademiya and Noor Mohammadi (also a favourite of Salman Khan’s). At Bademiyas, Sonam recommends signature mutton seekh kebabs, bhuna gosht and baida rotis and at Noor Mohammadi, she says one must try the nalli nihari and tangdi kebab, washed down with a scoop of dal ghee. ALSO READ: Foodie Alert: Kaabil girl Urvashi Rautela loves Delhi’s golgappas, momos and dahi-vadas!

Sonam Kapoor further says that she has found the best masala milk anyone will ever taste at Brijwasi sweets and she loves the ginger, orange blossom and kiwi ice-creams at Bachelorr’s who are experts in unique flavours of ice-creams and frozen yogurts. The famous Haji Ali Juice Center serves Sonam’s favourite sliced fruits with fresh cream as well as their faloodas.

Easy Eating

These are the ones that according to Sonam, one can go with friends just to hang out and chill. “You can’t go to a fine-dining restaurant everyday”, she says, and we couldn’t agree more. “For me, the food is as important as the ambience”, she adds and suggests Gajalee, Swati Snacks, Arya Bhawan and Bombay Presidency Radio Club as some of the joints that youngsters can frequent every once in a while. While Swati Snacks is Sonam’s go-to place for truly “Gujju-fied food” as she calls it, she eats at Arya Bhawan when she feels like enjoying a simple and delicious South Indian fare including dosas, idlis, uttapams and more. ALSO READ: Best Local Cuisine Restaurants of 2016: Top 10 local cuisine restaurants for the ultimate Indian foodie!

Sonam absolutely loves the baked masala khichdi, fada ni khichdi served with curd, and the suva panki at Swati Snacks. For sea-food, Gajalee is Sonam’s favourite joint and she likes their tandoori crab, he fried bombil (Bombay duck) with green, spicy chutney, the butter-garlic lobster and the clams in a green curry with neer dosa. In fact, she loves the place so much that she goes there every 10 days!

Chic and Healthy Eating

These restaurants belong to the tribe of “cool, secret places that serve amazing food”, as Sonam Kapoor puts it. She has picked out three of her favourite such places that include The Yoga House, The Pantry and Cafe Zoe. Sonam loves the breakfast spread and comfort food-especially the pork sliders- at Zoe, and is a fan of the Yoga House in Bandra’s Chimbai Village for its  ‘amazingly healthy food’. Sonam loves the cosy intimate feel of The Pantry and enjoys their quiches and breakfast menu. ALSO READ: 5 times Shilpa Shetty Kundra proved that she’s the fittest foodie in town!

She picked Hakkasan for its delightful menu from which her favourite dishes include crispy-duck salad with pomelo, pine nuts and shallots, fried quail, and the soft-shell crab flavoured with almonds, chilli and curry leaves. ALSO READ: 5 times Deepika Padukone unleashed the foodie in her
