He enthralled the audience with his energy, scorching gaze, acting skills and his chiseled body. The actor worked hard to bulk up for the part of Alauddin Khilji in the movie. He followed a strict workout routine to maintain his muscular body but for his next movie Gully Boy, he had to get toned to have a lean frame. He surprised everyone with his extreme transformation. Ranveer shed weight and looked skinny in the photo he shared on his Instagram account. He is one of the fittest actors around and is an inspiration. Ranveer Singh works out for one and half hour, twice a day and his workout routine includes both cardio and weight training.

For the role of Alauddin Khilji, Ranveer did mobility drills, movement patterns and high-intensity interval training. The workout also improved his overall flexibility.

And when he is not working out in the gym, he goes for a swim. He also does cycling and running.

Participating in sports keeps him fit and active.

The actor also follows a strict diet and eats healthy foods.
