The juice of raw papaya can prevent breakouts and blemishes on your skin. Blend raw papaya to extract juice from it and then apply it on the affected area using cotton pads. Leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry your face. If you use this every day, you will start noticing the difference in your skin. Lightens facial hair

If you fret every time you notice unsightly facial hair, then you should start using raw papaya face pack. The enzyme in papaya weakens the hair follicles and lightens the facial hair. If you use it regularly it will also prevent re-growth. Blend raw papaya and mix half cup of the paste with half teaspoon of turmeric powder. Mix well and apply this paste on your face. The protein in papaya can also reduce split ends. To make papaya hair mask, blend one cup of ripe papaya, ripe banana and a little bit of yogurt. To this paste add one tablespoon of coconut oil, mix well and apply this paste to your damp hair. Cover your hair with shower cap and after 30 minutes wash it off with warm water. You can use papaya as an anti-ageing face mask as  the  alpha hydroxyl acids in it prevents signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines. The vitamin E and C rejuvenates your skin. Mash half cup of over ripe papaya, to this add one tablespoon and milk and honey. Apply it on your face and neck. Keep it for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. Use this mask twice a week.

Brightens skin tone

Papaya contains natural bleaching properties, topical application can help in lightening your skin complexion. The cleansing properties helps get rid of the skin impurities and it also protects your skin against sun damage. To make a skin lightening face pack, mash half cup of ripe papaya, to this squeeze juice of one lemon. Mix it well and apply this mixture all over your face. Heals cracked heels

If you have cracked heels and cannot take the pain anymore, you can make a papaya paste to heal them. You won’t have  the pain, peeling of skin and itchiness anymore. All you need to do is mash one cup of ripe papaya and apply the paste on your heels. After 20 minutes, wash your feet with warm water. Pat dry and apply some olive oil. Repeat this daily and the moisturizing properties of the papaya will treat your cracked and dry heels.

Fades dark spots

You can lighten skin spots and remove skin tan by using papaya on your skin. Be it acne spots or dark elbow and knees, using papaya  is a great remedy for darkened skin spots. It will tone your skin and improve your complexion. Blend a raw papaya and take one fourth cup of paste in a bowl, to this add half tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Apply it on the affected area. Once it becomes dry, rinse it out with cool water. Use this multiple times a week to reduce the spots on your skin.
