So in order to avoid scalp damage it is advisable that you stick to towel drying or air drying your hair to minimize the possibility of breakage. Also, do not directly blow dry your hair, it is a good practice to use a leave in hair conditioner or hair serum before using blow dryer.

Before using a hair straightener or a flat iron, make sure that your hair is dry and clean. The damage caused by straightening wet hair is too much since your wet hair is more vulnerable.
