Every year, Mercer, a global leader in health, retirement and investments consulting firm rates cities from around the world for their quality of living. According to its 18th annual survey, Mercer has ranked Vienna as the best with the highest overall quality of living. The survey which is based on factors like safety, performance of local law enforcement, crime figures and more has ranked Vienna on the first spot followed by Zurich, Auckland and Munich. Hyderabad topped the list as India’s best city to live in even though it ranked at number 139 on the world cities list.

Austria’s beautiful architecture in baroque style, its palaces like the Hofburg and Schnonbrunn and its natural beauty consisting of mountain villages, alpine terrain and hillside vineyards surely make it a picture-perfect city.
