Many women do not pay attention to the innerwear they use during a workout and some women, especially small-chested women, do not wear a sports bra while doing exercise. For some women, wearing a sports bra is uncomfortable. However, you must wear a sports bra if you are working out. Not wearing a properly fitted sports bra can result in permanent damage to the breast tissue. Made of glandular and fatty tissue, breasts are has fibrous tissue called Cooper’s ligaments that attach it to the chest wall. These ligaments are not taut and hence are susceptible to motion. There are also many sensitive nerves present in the breasts that can get affected by aggressive activities and movements. You must wear a sports bra while working out, even if you have small breasts, as it will support your breasts and prevent any injury. 1. Exercising without a sports bra can be painful

If you are not wearing a sports bra during your workout session, the breast weight could pull your head forward and round your posture causing pain and discomfort. This can even result in headaches. A sports bra will keep your weight well-distributed while you work out.
