In the Who Wore It Better series, we bring to you similarly dressed celebs, who are also the victims of the much evolving stylist malfunction. This time the famed fashion face-off is between Kaabil actress Yami Gautam and Kungfu Yoga actress Amyra Dastur.

The fashion dictionary is replete with a poignant word- MALFUNCTION. While celebs are often victims of wardrobe malfunction, there’s another malfunction that’s much in vogue these days. We are talking about those much noticeable STYLIST MALFUNCTIONS! Talk about being Awwkward! While it’s sheer luck that these celebs weren’t exactly at the same place at the same time in the same outfit, our roving fashion eye did catch these two lissome divas in the same ensembles at two different venues. Who Wore What?

At the recently concluded Elle Beauty Awards, Amyra donned a Zara Umrigar one-shouldered gown while Yami donned the same gown and paired them with strappy sandals and a box clutch for the very recent GQ Fashion Night. While the styling details for Amyra are unknown, Yami was styled by the famed celeb stylist Tanya Ghavri. Who Wore It Better?

Although the velvet gown replete with its cutout and choker details, certainly looks dazzling on the two ladies, we cannot help but wonder at the blunder, evidently a big stylist malfunction. Nonetheless, we think Amyra slays the look well with her tied hair and minimalist makeup while Yami’s soft curled left down hair are a bit of a downer and interferes with the choker detailing of the gown. The gown was also worn by a Victoria’s Secret model for the Theo Wenner’s black tie party.
