Winter is knocking at your door and it is the best time to throw a house party. Make some easy appetizers, pour out the drinks and have a warm evening with your friends and family. You can also surprise them by whipping up cocktails for the occasion. It is not as difficult as you think. Just get the ingredients ready and make cocktails like a professional bartender. 1. Classic Whiskey Sour

This drink is for the whiskey lovers. The egg white foam and the tanginess of the lemon give the drink a twist.


Black & White Whiskey – 50ml

Lemon Juice – 15ml

Sugar Syrup – 15ml

Egg White – 1


Take egg white in a cocktail shaker and shake well to make foam.

Transfer the egg white to a shot glass and keep aside.

In a separate shaker, add 50 ml black and white whiskey, 15 ml sugar syrup and 15 ml lime juice

Now add the egg white foam to all the other ingredients in cocktail shaker.

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes to the top and shake well.

Put 2 ice cubes in the old-fashioned glass.

Strain the mixture out from the cocktail shaker in the old-fashioned glass.

For garnish, make an orange peel (in twisted shape), rim the glass and put the peel on top of the drink.

Pour one drop of Angostura Bitter on top of the drink and serve.

JW Red Label Scotch – 40ml

Angostura Bitter- Bar Spoon

Ginger Ale – Top-up


Add 40 ml Red label in chilled Collins glass

Add 1 bar spoon of angostura bitter

Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top

Top up with ginger ale and stir well

For garnish, make an orange peel in twisted shape, rim the glass and put the peel on top of the drink.

3. Smoked Cinnamon

Apple juice and cinnamon will bring Christmas flavor to your party. Do try it.


Monin Cinnamon Syrup – 20ml

Apple Juice – 40ml

JW Red Label scotch – 40ml


Take an old-fashioned glass filled with ice and add 20 ml Monin cinnamon syrup

Add 40 ml real apple juice

Add 40 ml red label scotch and stir well

For garnish, take a cinnamon stick and smoke it with the use of lighter. (Only to be smoked and not burned)

Insert the smoked cinnamon stick in drink and serve.
