Past Election 2014

The 2014 elections conducted across 9 phases spanning over a month had the highest voter turnout of 66.38 per cent. The BJP led by Narendra Modi won 282 seats on its own and formed the government under the NDA. After a long time, a single party got the majority in the Lok Sabha. It decimated the Congress as it could get only 44 seats, the lowest ever it got in any Lok Sabha elections.
