Burdwan-Durgapur: Voting for the Burdwan-Durgapur constituency in West Bengal will take place in the fourth phase of general elections on April 29. The candidates who are contesting from Burdwan-Durgapur constituency are SS Ahluwalia from BJP, Ranjit Mukherjee from Congress, Abhas Roy Choudhury from CPI(M) and incumbent parliamentarian Mamtaz Sanghamita from All India Trinamool Congress. Asansol: Voting for the Asansol constituency in West Bengal will take place in the fourth phase of general elections on April 29. The candidates who are contesting from Asansol constituency are an incumbent parliamentarian and BJP candidate Babul Supriyo, INC candidate Biswarup Mondal, TMC candidate Dev Varma (Moon Moon Sen) and CPI(M) candidate Gouranga Chatterjee. Bolpur: Voting for the Bolpur constituency in West Bengal will take place in the fourth phase of general elections on April 29. The candidates who are contesting from Bolpur constituency are BJP Ram Prashad Das, TMC candidate Asit Kumar Mal instead of the incumbent parliamentarian Anupam Hazra and CPI(M) candidate Ram Chandra Dome.
Birbhum: Birbhum will go to polls in the fourth phase of general elections on April 29. To defeat the incumbent parliamentarian and AITC candidate Satabdi Roy (Banerjee) in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, CPI(M) has fielded Rezaul Karim, the Congress has fielded Imam Hossain while the BJP has fielded Dudh Kumar Mondol. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, the famous actress-turned MP won the polls by defeating the CPI(M) candidate Elahe Kamre Muhammad.
The seven-phase Lok Sabha voting for the 543 Lok Sabha seats will conclude on May 19. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
