Cong-JD(S) Don’t Care About Your Needs, Their Priority is Family’s Selfish Interest: PM Modi in Koppal

PM Modi was addressing a rally in Koppal, Karnataka, on Friday where he targeted the Cong-JD(S) alliance.

Koppal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, rallying in Koppal in Karnataka on Friday for Lok Sabha elections, tore into the Congress-JD(S) alliance and said they were only after meeting their own selfish needs. “H D Deve Gowda ji ke bete ne kaha ki kendra mein agar phir sarkar ban gai toh vo rajneeti se sanyaas lelenge. 2014 ke chunav mein swayam Deve Gowda ji ne kaha tha agar Modi ji PM banenge toh main sanyaas le lunga. Unhone liya kya? Beta sanyas lega kya? (H D Deve Gowda ji’s son had said that if the BJP came back to power, he would renounce the world. Did he do that?)”

Upping the ante, he said, “Yahan ke CM ne kaha hai ki jinko do time khana nahi milta hai vo sena mein jaata hai. Kya ye hamare veer sainiko ka apmaan hai ki nahi hai? Kya isse vote maangoge kya? Arey doob maro desh ki sena ka apmaan karne walon (The CM here said those who didn’t have two square meals joined the Army. Isn’t it the insult of our soldiers? Those who insult our armed forces should go drown themselves in shame).”

Finally, the Prime Minister targeted the alliance in Congress-JD(S) and said, “Congress-JD(S) dono hi party janta se jitni kati hui hai utni hi sirf aur sirf apne parivar se judi hui hai. Inke liye aapki aavshyaktaein, iski unko parwah nahi. Unki prathmikta hai khud ka swaarth, parivar ka swarth aur unka mission kya hai? (Both Cong-JD(S) are as distant from the public as they are rooted in their families. They don’t care about your needs. Their priority is their own selfish interests).”
