LS Polls 2019: A list of nine candidates from Kerala and Maharashtra has been announced on Tuesday.

New Delhi: The Congress party on Tuesday released a list of candidates from Kerala and Maharashtra for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2019. A total of nine candidates have been announced, 2 from Kerala and 7 from Maharashtra.
On March 17, the Congress released the fourth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls. A total of 27 candidates were announced _ 12 from Kerala, seven from Uttar Pradesh, five from Chhattisgarh, two from Arunachal Pradesh and one from Andaman and Nicobar islands. Shashi Tharoor will contest from Thiruvananthapuram constituency while former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki will contest from Arunachal West constituency.
On Friday, the party had released its third list of 18 candidates. Of those, five are in Assam, eight in Telangana, two in Meghalaya and one each in Nagaland, Sikkim, and UP. Sushmita Dev will contest from Silchar, G Gogoi will contest from Kaliabor, Mukul Sangma will contest from Tura and Tanuj Punia from Barabanki.
