Addressing the joint rally in Deoband, Mayawati further said, “This election, Uttar Pradesh is bidding farewell to the BJP and embracing the Gathbandhan. As soon as PM Modi will know about the huge crowd at this rally today, he will once again attack the alliance and speak absurdly.”
Amping up the attack on PM Modi, the BSP chief claimed that the saffron party has not even fulfilled one-fourth of the promises that he made before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections to the women, farmers, labourers and everyone in the country. She took a swipe at BJP as well the Congress saying that Congress’ Bofors and BJP’s Rafale is evidence of corruption. “We can’t allow them to take power again at any cost,” the former UP CM vowed.
Stating that the BJP is misusing Pulwama issue, GST and note ban, Mayawati asked the people to not vote these people to power again in this Lok Sabha elections 2019. She did not spare Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath as well and said, “Removing Modi is not enough, Yogi also needs to be shown the door.”
A huge number of people gathered for the SP-BSP rally in Deoband ahead of the first phase of polling on April 11.
