Lucknow: With the race to Lok Sabha hotting up, political leaders are trying to grab the voters’ attention by making outrageous comments about their rivals. The latest such words come from Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD)’s Jayant Chaudhary. (Also read: Prove That SC Denied Statehood to Delhi, Says AAP)

During one of his public rallies a couple of days ago, the RLD Vice-President, who is contesting from Baghpat this time, said, “Yeh aapko sharaabi kahein, yeh aapko milavat kahein, to maine bhi inke liye naam soch rakha hai…Main gaali to nahi dena chahta inko lekin yeh bahut bahut bahut bade jutiye hain, jutiye, bahut jutiya party hai (They call you sharaabi, they call you milavat so I have also thought up a name for them. Since I cannot abuse, all I can say is that they’re big jutiye…the entire party is jutiya).”

While launching a counter-attack at the BJP for its salvos at the alliance, Chaudhary claimed he was calling the saffron party ‘jutiye’ as they were used to hurling shoes at each other.

Prime Minister Modi had called the Mahagathbandhan both Mahamilawat and Saraab. Saraab was the PM’s acronym for the alliance of Samajwadi Party, RLD and Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh.

Chaudhary went on to add, “Aapne ₹ 1,500 crore ka ek alishan kendriya karyalaya, BJP ne Delhi mein banaya hai…Pichhli baar hum koi tod fod karne nahi aaye the, abki aap chook karoge to Ajit Singh ji ailaan karenge, hum log chalenge aur ek-ek eenth ukhaad na di jo karyalaya ki (You built a grand central office worth Rs 1,500 crore. We don’t intend to damage it but take one misstep and our chief Ajit Singh’s instructions, we will pull out every single brick of that office).”
