Pratapgarh: While Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ramlila Maidan rally was seen as the biggest ever such event in the national capital and his interviews to TV channels are being lapped up by the public, Congress General Secretary for UP East, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra remains unimpressed. Addressing a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh on Thursday, Priyanka said, “Inse bada kaayar, inse kamzor Pradhan Mantri maine zindagi mein nahi dekha hai. Rajnaitik shakti bade bade prachaar se nahi aati hai, TV pe dikhaane se nahi aati hai (I haven’t seen a Prime Minister who is a bigger coward and weaker than him (PM Modi))…Political strength doesn’t come from big campaigns, by being on TV).” Also Read - UP Police SI Recruitment 2021: 9534 Vacancies Announced | Check Posts, Qualification, Pay Details Here

Elaborating on how one gets political strength, she said, “Rajnaitik shakti wo hoti hai jo ye maane ki janta sabse badi hai, janta ki baat sun’ne ki shakti, janta ki samasyaon ko suljhane ki shakti, alochna sun’ne ki shakti, vipakshi dalon ki baat sun’ne ki shakti. Lekin ye PM apki baat sun’na chhodiye, apko jawab dena nahi jante (One has political strength if one accepts that the public is the most important, one listens to the public, tries to address its problems, listens to its criticism, and has the courage to listen to Opposition’s criticism. But this PM, forget him listening to your woes, he isn’t willing to give answers).”

Only yesterday in Delhi, hours before the PM was to speak at Ramlila Maidan, she had said, “Ek Dilli ki ladki apko khuli chunauti de rahi hai. Chunav ke akhiri do charan notebandi par ladiye, GST par ladiye, mahilaon ki suraksha par ladiye aur un vadon par ladiye jo aapne poore desh ke naujawano se jhoothe vaade kiye, dhokha diya un par ladiye (This Delhi girl throws an open challenge to you to fight the remaining two phases on GST, women security and all those false promises which you made to the youths of the nation).”
