New Delhi: While incumbent and erstwhile Delhi chief ministers indulged in a Twitter spat over rumours of one’s ill health, it was poet and former Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas who grabbed attention in the midst of it.

Delhi Congress chief Sheila Dikshit took to social media on Saturday and lunged at Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly spreading false information about her health. (Brother Arvind Kejriwal, why are you spreading false information that my health is deteriorating? If you don’t have any work then come over and we’ll have a meal together. You can then see for yourself how healthy I am and also learn how to contest elections without resorting to fake news)
To this, the Delhi chief minister and AAP national convener responded, “मैंने आपकी सेहत पर कब कुछ बोला? (When did I said anything about your health? I have been taught me to respect elders. I pray you remain hale and hearty and lords grant you a long life. When you were travelling abroad for medical treatment, I had dropped by your house uninvited to inquire about your health… Tell me when can I come over to have a meal?)
The chief minister soon saw a wave of support for his humble response and witnessed friend-not-sure-if-turned-foe Kumar Vishwas tweeting in uncertain terms over the spat. The poet-politician Vishwas tweeting to Dikshit said that Kejriwal has been trying to meet her for the past three months but to no avail.
One of the founders of AAP and a former senior leader, Kumar Vishwas has had a rocky relationship with the party since early 2018 and maintains an inconclusive stand in regard to its leaders and functioning.
