New Delhi: With the general elections around the corner, the BJP has flagged off ‘NaMo Rath’. Launched by party president Amit Shah, the store would sell merchandise inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The saffron coloured fleet of mini-trucks with photos of PM Modi will tour the nation selling NaMo (Narendra Modi) T-shirts, coffee mugs, caps, face masks, key chains among other merchandise, a party leader said.

Calling it a “unique nationwide initiative”, Shah said the money collected from the exercise will be donated to the ‘Namami Ganga’ project aimed at cleaning the river.

“This is a unique nationwide initiative, which will allow people to buy latest NaMo merchandise on wheels,” he said after the flag off at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters here.

“The money collected from this will be donated to the Namami Gange Project to further clean our holy Ganga,” he said in a tweet.

Meanwhile, days after the air strikes in terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Balakot, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this won’t be the country’s last such action against terrorism emanating from the neighbouring country.

Addressing a public gathering in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, PM asserted on Monday that he will target the militants even if they hide in the bowels of the earth. “It is our principle to kill them by barging into their houses,” the Prime Minister added.
