Lok Sabha Elections 2019: How to Check Your Name in Voter List — Follow These Steps

59 constituencies across seven states will vote on May 12.

New Delhi: Over 10.17 crore voters in 59 constituencies across seven states will decide the fate of 979 candidates by casting their votes in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 12. Voting will take place for 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 10 in Haryana, eight seats each in West Bengal, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, seven in Delhi and four in Jharkhand.

If you want to check your details such as- polling station, booth number, assembly constituency, parliamentary constituency, download the Voter Helpline app by Election Commission (EC) on your mobile phone.

Step 1: Open the Voter Helpline App by Election Commission (EC).

Step 2: Click on ‘Search Your Name in Electoral Roll’.  A new page will open where you will see two options (a) Search By Details (b) Search By Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) Number.

Step 3: If you choose the option (a) i.e, ‘Search By Details’ option– Fill your full name, father/husband name, age, gender state, district and constituency.

Step 4: Once you are done with all the details, click on Search button at the bottom. All the details, such as– name, age, gender, father/husband name, assembly constituency, parliamentary constituency, district, state, part no., part name, serial no., polling station will be displayed on the mobile screen.

Step 5: Download all your details.

Step 6: In case you click on the ‘Search by EPIC No’ facility option— click on Search by EPIC No.

Step 7: Fill your Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) Number.

Step 8: Once you fill the said column, all the details will be displayed on your mobile phone’s screen.

One may also visit the EC’s website electoralsearch.in to check their name and details.
