New Delhi: Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushi Nagar, Deoria, Bansgaon Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh will vote in the seventh and last phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 19. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.

Maharajganj: Maharajganj LS seat is currently represented by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Pankaj. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he had defeated Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Kashi Nath ShuklaFor 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP has retained Pankaj Chaudhary while Congress has fielded Supriya Shrinate. BSP-SP is yet to announce a candidate for Maharajganj LS seat.
Gorakhpur: The Gorakhpur seat had fallen vacant after BJP MP Yogi Adityanath was elected as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Following this, Gorakhpur saw a By Poll in the year 2018, which was won by Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Pravin Kumar Nishad.
For 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP has fielded Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kisan. Congress, BSP-SP are yet to announce candidate from Gorakhpur LS seat.
Kushi Nagar: This seat is currently represented by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Rajesh Pandey. In 2014 LS Polls, Pandey had bagged a total of 3,70,051 votes. He had defeated Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Kunwar Ratanjit Pratap Narain Singh.
For 2019 Lok Sabha polls, BSP-SP has fielded Nathuni Prasad Kushwaha while BJP has fielded Vijay Dubey. Congress candidate and former Union Minister RPN Singh is also in the fray.
Deoria: This seat is represented by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kalraj Mishra. In 2014 he had defeated BSP’s Niaz Ahmed.
For 2019 polls, BJP has fielded Ramapati Ram Tripathi, Congress has fielded Niaz Ahmed and BSP-SP has fielded Vinod Kumar Jaiswal.
Bansgaon: This seat is reserved for SC candidates. Bansgaon is currently represented by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kamlesh Paswan. He had defeated Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Sadal Prasad in 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
For 2019 polls, BJP has retained Paswan while BSP has fielded Sadal Prasad. Congress candidate Kush Saurabh is also in the fray.
