New Delhi: Trinamool supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday yet again attacked PM Modi by calling him the ‘biggest riot monger’ in the country. Referring to the 2002 riots in Gujarat, Banerjee, while addressing a rally in Basanti area of South 24 Parganas district, said,”There is no bigger riot-monger than Narendra Modi. I remember, when riots happened in 2002, Atal Ji had instructed him to follow raj-dharma. He had also warned him that he will dissolve the Gujarat Government.”

Intensifying attack on the Prime Minister, the West Bengal CM further accused Modi of “running a parallel government” in Bengal and not letting her run administration in the right way. “Narendra Modi is running a parallel government in Bengal in the guise of elections. We are tolerating everything silently. Our courtesy is not our weakness. Who are you to interfere in law and order of my state?” she asked PM Modi.

She also accused the Union government  of using the central forces to influence voters in the state. Speaking at the rally, Banerjee said that she feared that BJP and RSS activists have entered the state, sporting the uniform of the forces, to conduct polling.

“I do not disrespect the central forces. But they are being instructed to influence the voters. On the pretext of deploying central forces in West Bengal, the BJP is forcefully pushing BJP and RSS activists here. I doubt that some RSS activists in (central forces’) uniform are being pushed into West Bengal,” Banerjee stated.

She also alleged that central forces personnel were asking voters standing in queues to exercise franchise in favour of the BJP. “How can they do that? Is this the job of the central forces to ask voters to cast vote for the BJP? A few retired officers are being used by the Modi government to conduct polling here and they are doing whatever they feel like,” Banerjee claimed.

“You should be ashamed of doing this (asking people to vote for Modi)… You are here to do a job. Today you are under Modi, tomorrow you will be under somebody else. Then what will you do?,”Banerjee attacked central forces personnel.
