Addressing the people in Uttar Pradesh, the PM said that the Opposition parties were busy bad-mouthing him as they were afraid of losing to him.

He added that he needn’t reply even because the voters would give a befitted response to the Opposition by supporting him instead.

Targeting BSP leader Mayawati for opposing his move to enlist his caste under the OBC category, the Prime Minister said that even if his caste was being put under the scanner, he had never used it to win people over.

He claimed he could work better than the ‘mahamilavati’ people because he had seen poverty from close quarters. He said he came from a backward caste but was intent on taking the nation forward.

However, the ‘mahamilavati’ people, he said, worked only to fill their coffers and were not concerned about the people. The PM also mentioned how he had been the Gujarat CM way longer than both Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati had been of Uttar Pradesh. He added that he never used the caste card to win elections though he had won many.

He said the ‘chowkidaar’ had made a scheme which would ensure pension to farmers and labourers.
