Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Stops Her Convoy to Greet And Shake Hands With PM Modi’s Supporters

New Delhi: Congress’s East Uttar Pradesh secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was on Monday seen greeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi supporters in Madhya Pradesh.

While campaigning in Madhya Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi stopped her convoy in the middle of a busy road, to greet and shake hands with a bunch of people shouting ‘Modi’ slogans. Priyanka Gandhi got out of her black Tata Safari SUV and walked straight to Modi supporters, and said “Aap apni jagah aur mai apni jagah (You are where you are and I am where I am). All the best.”

The BJP supporters who were taken by surprise at the simplicity of the Congress leader wished her all the best.

Notably, the Congress leader was in Indore to hold a five-km-long roadshow for the party’s candidate Pankaj Sanghvi, and was leaving the airport when some BJP supporters raised pro-Modi slogans.

The Congress leader earlier in the day also broke security protocol during a public meeting in Ratlam Lok Sabha constituency when she jumped off wooden fencing and got closer to the women party supporters to posed for selfies with them.

The Congress leader then kicked off her road show from Raj Mohalla area of the city accompanied by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

The Lok Sabha elections 2019 is being held in seven phases. The counting of votes and election results will take place on May 23.
