Pulwama Attack: Every Drop of Tear Shed Will be Avenged, New India Believes in Giving it Back to Its Perpetrators, Says PM in Maharashtra’s Dhule
Hinting at the surgical strike which the Indian Army carried out in 2016, PM Modi claimed that our security forces were capable of giving a befitting reply to the enemy.

Dhule (Maharashtra): Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a day visit to Maharashtra’s Yavatmal and Dhule spoke of the Pulwama terror attack which left 40 CRPF jawans dead and reiterated that every drop of tear shed will be avenged. PM Modi minced no words and added that while India did not poke anyone without any reason, the ‘New India’ believed in giving back to its perpetrators if it got teased.

Referring to the surgical strike which the Indian Army carried out in 2016, PM Modi claimed, ‘security forces are capable of giving a befitting reply to the enemy’. “Bharat ki ye niti rahi hai ki ham kisi ko chedte nahin hai, lekin main fir saaf kar dun ki naye Bharat ko kisi ne cheda to wo chodta bhi nahi hai. Ye hamare surakshabalon ne pehle bhi kar dikhaya hai aur ab bhi koi kasar chodi nahi jaayegi,” PM Modi stated.
The Prime Minister further asserted that he understands the grief and the anger shared by the countrymen over the heinous attack and claimed that the sacrifice of the jawans will not go in vain. “We will always stand by those who sacrificed their lives. This is a time of grief,” he said, adding, “Ye sanyam ka, samvedanshilta ka, shok ka samay hai, lekin har parivar ko main ye bharosa deta hu, aapke aankhon mein jo aansun hain, un aansuon ka pura pura jawab liya jaayega.”
Stating that Maharashtra was mourning the loss of its two sons, PM Modi said, “Terror organisations who have committed this crime, no matter how much they try to hide, they will be punished. Security forces have been given full freedom.”
On Thursday, 40 CRPF personnel were killed and five injured in one of the deadliest terror attacks in J-K when a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives in their bus. The bus was part of a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying CRPF personnel from Jammu to Srinagar.
PM Modi is in Maharashtra to launch several developmental projects. Addressing the crowd he spoke of the initiatives his government has taken and told how they were working hard to meet the target of providing a home to every homeless by 2022. In Yavatmal after launching several development projects, he said that around 1.2 crore farmers in the state will be covered under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
PM Modi inaugurated the Lower Panazara medium project under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchan Yojana (PMKSY) and laid the foundation stone of Sulwade Jamphal Kanoli Lift Irrigation Scheme and Dhule City Water Supply Scheme in Dhule.
