New Delhi: Hitting a new low, BJP leader Pankaja Munde on Monday wondered aloud if latching a bomb onto Congress president Rahul Gandhi and sending him to another country would help him and those questioning the surgical strikes, get an answer.
News agency ANI quoted the Maharashtra cabinet minister lambasting the critics of the ‘pre-emptive air strikes’ carried out by the Indian Air Force on camps of terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan’s Balakot in February 2019 and the surgical strikes held in September 2016.
She said, “We did surgical strike after a cowardly attack on our soldiers. Some people ask what was surgical strike&what’s evidence? I say we should’ve attached a bomb to Rahul Gandhi&should have sent him to another country. Then they would have understood.”

Pankaja Munde has a knack for courting controversy, while campaigning for her sister Pritam last week she had said, “This is not a Zilla Parishad, but a Lok Sabha election. Mahamanv Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar wrote the Constitution. We have to change the Constitution, bring new bills and make some changes.”
